Day 2 : Kathmandu

Morning: Breakfast at hotel Optional: 1hour Mountain flight to Mt. Everest Proceed for a sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath - situated 5 km east of Kathmandu city, Pashupatinath temple is one of the holiest Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated, amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple built in pagoda style has gilted roof and richly carved silver doors. Visit Swayambhunath Stupa – this Buddhist stupa is said to be 2000 years old. The stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples.

Afternoon: Proceed for guided tour of Patan - also known as Lalitpur, is the city of fine arts. Visit the Durbar Square a world heritage site for its temples, idols, open courts, water fountains and more. Overnight: Hotel

Day 3 : Kathmandu - Nagarkot

Morning: Breakfast at hotel Proceed to Nagarkot (29 km/ Approx. 2 hrs) at a height of 2900 metres above sea-level to enjoy a beautiful sunrise and a view of the Kathmandu valley. Ganesh Himal, Everest and Gauri Shanker can be seen from here. Visitors can extend their sojourn to explore the countryside.

Day 4 : Nagarkot - Pokhara

Morning: : Breakfast at hotel Transfer to Pokhara (225 km /Approx. 7 hrs) enjoying the scenary along the hilly riverside road..

Evening: Arrive Pokhara and transfer to hotel. Excursion to Phewa Lake - skirted by a large number of unpretentious lodges and simple restaurants, is the most congenial spot for visitors. Overnight: Hotel

Day 5 : Pokhara

Morning: Breakfast at hotel Proceed for a sightseeing tour of Pokhara - The rare combination of snow-clad peaks and snow fed lakes and rivers has helped to make the valley of Pokhara, one of the most picturesque natural attractions in the kingdom. Visit International Mountain Museum – it records, documents and exhibits the past and present developments related to mountain and mountaineering around the world and Devils Falls and Guptenshowr Mahadev Gupha huge stalagmite worshipped as a Shiva lingam. Also visit the Bindhyavasani Temple. Overnight: Hotel

Day 6 : Pokhara - Chitwan

Morning: Breakfast at hotel Drive to Chitwan (150 km /Approx. 4 hrs) enroute visit Manakamana, Take a cable car ride to enjoy the spectacular view of the mountains.

Evening: On arrival at the resort, Check in the resort. A naturalist will brief you about the wildlife programs and lodge facilities. Chitwan National Park is one of the few remaining undisturbed sections of the Terai Plains that used to extend along the southern foothills of the Himalayas - all the way through India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. It is famous for its variety of wildlife, especially the Great Indian one horned Rhino and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Overnight: Hotel

Day 7 : Chitwan

Morning: Enjoy a shared jeep safari through the grasslands, riverine forest, dense sal forests and oxbow lakes of Chitwan National Park, stopping for breakfast at a scenic spot. Chitwan (meaning ‘Heart of the Jungle’) was the first national park established in Nepal and its river plains and jungle provide sanctuary for one of the largest populations of the rare Bengal tiger, along with one-horned rhinos, fish-eating Gharial crocodiles, wild elephants, leopards and sloth bears.

Afternoon: We then embark on a boat safari to view aquatic birds, crocodiles and other wildlife from the river.

Evening: Visit nearby villages which will entertain you with a show of Their traditional skills and Tharu cultural dances. Overnight: Hotel

Day 8 : Chitwan - Kathmandu

Morning: Breakfast at hotel Drive to Kathmandu (176 km /Approx. 6 hrs) admiring the dramatic scenary along the way as the highway follows a series of deep river valleys, villages and cascading rice terraces.

Evening: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.Overnight: Hotel

Day 8 : Kathmandu
